PAPA

LAND IT | DRIVE IT | PARK IT

PAPA is a remote-controlled helicopter landing pad and tug in one integrated system, designed to make landing, positioning, and hangar storage safer, easier, and more efficient — especially in tight spaces and low-light conditions.

How It Works

Approach

As you fly in, a handheld lighting remote — kept in the helicopter — activates the landing pad lighting before touchdown.
The system includes:

  • A diffused LED perimeter light string clearly defining the full landing pad footprint

  • Four green corner lights for instant visual orientation

This lighting dramatically improves visibility during approach and is especially valuable for night operations.

Land

Land the helicopter directly onto the PAPA pad using standard procedures. Once on the pad, the landing lights can be turned off.

Move

PAPA itself is the tug. Using a separate remote control, the operator can:

  • Drive the landing pad with the helicopter on it

  • Raise the platform’s folding wing panels to reduce overall footprint

This allows the helicopter to be driven smoothly and precisely into the hangar, with no physical lifting, pushing, or ground crew required.

4. Compact Hangar Placement
With the wings raised, PAPA minimizes occupied space, making hangar positioning easier and more efficient — even in confined environments.

Designed for Control & Safety

  • Remote-controlled movement lets the operator stand back and maintain full visibility of rotor tips, tail clearance, hangar doors, and obstacles

  • Articulating drive tires provide smooth, controlled movement under load

  • A durable, high-traction protective landing surface withstands repeated use while protecting helicopter skids

From illuminated approach to effortless hangar placement, PAPA turns helicopter ground handling into a controlled, single-operator process.

Land on it. Drive it. Park it.
That’s PAPA.
